Jimmy was born and raised in Yreka. After graduating from Yreka High School in 2008, he pursued his Bachelors of Science Degree in Journalism at the University of Oregon. Upon graduating from UO in 2012, Jimmy took a custom apparel sales job in Seattle, Washington. In the Spring of 2016, Jimmy opted to move home to obtain his insurance licenses and begin the family succession plan at Jim Kutzer Insurance Agency, Inc. In his spare time, Jimmy enjoys hunting, fishing, working out, and exploring new places with his wife Ali and yellow labs Walter and Hank.
